Cloverdale Minor Baseball is thrilled to announce that our very own Rae Andrews has been awarded a Volunteer Recognition award from the City of Surrey.

Rae has coached in every Division in Cloverdale Minor Baseball, starting in T Ball in 1998 and is still coaching the Junior Men’s team. In addition, he was selected as a coach with a Vancouver Minor Team in a Western Canadian Championship in 2011 and guided our Gold Medal Provincial team in 2013. Rae has served on the Cloverdale executive for the past 10 years, as a Director for 2 years, President for 4 years, Past President for 1 year, and is our current Treasurer. Under Rae’s guidance, Cloverdale Minor was awarded the Association of the Year by BC Minor Baseball in 2012 and in 2013, CMBA was selected by BC Baseball as the inaugural recipient of the first “Outstanding Achievement Award” ever presented. Our association continues to thrive under many of the policies and procedures that Rae was instrumental in putting into place during the past decade.

On behalf of Cloverdale Minor Baseball we would like to Congratulate and thank Rae for all of the countless hours he has put into our baseball community over the years he has been here. We wouldn't be the same without him.
