Thank you all for your patience as we have been navigating through and providing information on the 2020 Spring Season from our governing bodies since mid-March via our various platforms.
Cloverdale Minor Baseball Board of Directors have made the difficult decision to cancel the Spring 2020 season.
The following form will allow you to provide your selection for your 2020 Spring Season Fee Requests. Please read through this full document carefully to ensure that the correct selections are made. The Board of Directors have had to modify our refund / cancellation policies in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are hopeful that Baseball BC, BC Minor Baseball, viaSport BC and the Provincial Government will soon provide options for a modified program which may allow us to offer an alternative program in the coming weeks / months. The traditional Spring and Summer Programs we are all used to are no longer an option this year due to the current environment and the need to keep our families and communities safe.
The following options are available to registered Spring (non single season) players:
85% refund for spring 2020 fees
100% deferral of fees to be kept on file towards 2021 Base Spring fees **this will cover your players 2021 base spring fees EVEN if they increase or you are moving to a higher division**
paid volunteer opt outs will be refunded at 100% regardless of a request to defer or refund.
Grade 12 students, aging out of the 18U regular season will receive 100% refund
further details for Single Season teams will be coming as we get additional direction from our governing body BC Minor Baseball
PeeWee AA top up fees will be refunded in full and not kept on file (your can choose to defer PeeWee base fee or refund at 85% and will still get your AA top up fee back in full)

We will provide refund cheque pick up locations, dates and times in the next few weeks, our intent is to have refunds available for those that request them within 30 days, we are all volunteers working as quickly as we can and appreciate your understanding.
We understand that some may wonder why the refund amount is 85% of the registrations fees. However, prior to starting each season there are expenses that are incurred that can not be carried forward to future seasons. While items like baseballs and hats can be carried forward there are other expenses like coach development, insurance, facility rentals for assessments, website & advertising costs, etc that can not. By retaining a small portion of the fees (or allowing deferrals) this ensures that Cloverdale Minor Baseball is in a viable position to offer baseball to the youth of Cloverdale in future years.
We understand many coaches and players will have questions about uniform and equipment returns, however due to social distancing requirements we will be holding off on accepting these in at this time.
Single season teams (15U AA, 15U AAA, 18U AAA & College Prep) will be updated as we learn more from our governing bodies.
