Restart Update
--------------------

The Provincial Government confirmed the news we all wanted to hear  recently - we’ve moved into Step 2 of BC’s Restart Plan, which means sports can now officially move to Step 2 for the Return to Sport Restart 2.0 plan, as per ViaSport, Baseball BC, and City of Surrey’s direction.

Of note when at Cloverdale Ball Park or any other baseball facility:

  • Maximum group size of 50 participants (players) per diamond
  • Physical Distance not required on field of play.  Off field of play, physical distance of 2 meters must be maintained.
  • Up to 50 spectators per diamond (please respect all physical distancing guidelines - use your lawn chair)
    • Max of 25 spectators per team
    • Based on rosters of 12 players, this means a max of 2 spectators per child.  (i.e. 2 parents, 1 grandparent + 1 parent, 1 parents + 1 sibling)
    • Team officials, scorekeeper, players, etc are part of the 50 participants (players) count of 50

CMBA Board of Directors appreciates our members' patience as this process unfolded in 2021. Please enjoy the remaining games and events of the season. Provincial Health Office, Baseball BC, and Cloverdale Minor Baseball’s safety guidelines and protocols are still in effect.

Concession
----------------

We are also excited to announce the opening of our Concession effective Tuesday, June 15th. Cash and Debit are accepted as payment.

Dibs Volunteers
---------------------

There are some Spectator Patrol shifts available to help remind our membership of the physical distancing requirements of our spectators.  Furthermore, with the summer season starting soon, additional opportunities to complete your Spring Dibs shifts will be available as the concession runs through the month of July.
