Dave Diachuk and Aaron Myette will be conducting pitching and catching sessions for the winter off season in the Cloverdale Ball Park batting cage.
As a player, Dave was a member of numerous Provincial Championship Teams, a member of the BC Selects Provincial team and was selected to compete with the National Baseball Institute. As a Junior, Dave was honored to be a 1st team All Conference Selection in College and member of both the Canadian National Junior team and the Canadian National team. He played his senior year in Concordia College in Portland Oregon and once again was selected to the NAIA All Conference Team.
Aaron is a 10 year professional baseball player spending time in the Major Leagues with the Chicago White Sox, Texas Rangers, Cleveland Indians, and Cincinnati Reds. Aaron Played for Team Canada in 2006 in the World Baseball Classic, and in 2004 on the Canadian Olympic Team in Athens, Greece. He is currently the pitching coach for the Women’s National Baseball Team.
These small group sessions are a great opportunity for all pitchers and catchers to learn and prepare themselves for the upcoming 2017 season and how to work and communicate with each other on the field.
All sessions will be held on Saturdays starting November 11, and run for 6 weeks. These clinics will be $80 for pitchers and $30 for catchers.
