Camps & Clinics

Cloverdale Minor Baseball is excited to host various training camps and clinics throughout the year.  Some of our clinics are held in our Batting Cage, while others may be on-field.  These clinics will focus on a variety of different topics and will be hosted by high-quality instructors.

Please watch the news feed for upcoming camps or clinics being offered and check out below for any currently open sessions to register in.

Intro to PeeWee Camp

We’re excited to offer a Pee-Wee Baseball Prep Camp designed to help players transition confidently into Pee-Wee baseball.

As players move up, there are several new rules and game situations they’ll be introduced to. This camp is focused on preparing them ahead of time so they feel confident, capable, and ready to succeed. Our goal is to build their baseball IQ early, so when they enter Pee-Wee, they can focus on refining their skills rather than learning them for the first time.

Who Can Register: This camp is open to all second-year Mosquito players (2015 birth year).

Cost: $50 per player

What Will Be Covered:

Pitchers:

  • Holding runners
  • Pick-offs to all bases
  • Balks

Runners:

  • Lead-offs
  • Secondary leads
  • Reading pitchers

Catchers:

  • Dropped third strikes

Infielders:

  • Holding runners on
  • Pick-offs

Players will also participate in scrimmages using Pee-Wee rules to help reinforce what they’ve learned in a game setting.

Camp Schedule:

May 3 – Adam’s Road Park | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
May 15 – Cloverdale Ballpark (D3) | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
May 31 – Cloverdale Ballpark (D3) | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
June 7 – Cloverdale Ballpark (D3) | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

In-Season Training

At Cloverdale Baseball, we believe player development doesn’t stop once the season begins. In addition to regular team practices and games, the association may offer limited in-season training opportunities focused on continued skill development for select divisions throughout the year.

These sessions are designed to complement team activities and may include targeted skill work such as pitching, catching, hitting, or defensive fundamentals. In-season training is offered on a limited and as-available basis, depending on field access, instructor availability, and the needs of specific age groups or divisions.
